The biggest Christmas celebrations are around the corner. If it’s difficult to choose what to wear every day, deciding your Christmas party outfits can be an ordeal. That’s the reason why today, I want to show you my 8 party looks’ proposals (4 for women, 4 for men) in order to inspire you and avoid a last-minute headache. Let’s start!
Party Outfits for her:
The classic total black look is always a success. Choose a black blazer and wear it with a pair of palazzo trousers and a lace top in the same colour. And what’s the key? Gold and red accessories to add intensity and elegance to your outfit.
Sober colours are synonymus with elegance. If you prefer wearing a dress on these dates, choose a basic one with long sleeves, as this one in dark green I show you, and combine it with a classic coat, a pair of stilettos and subtle gold accessories that do not detract from the attention of the dress. The final touch, burgundy lips to highlight your features.
If you like to risk, choose a ‘jewel’ dress with a sutil pattern in order to be the focus of the whole outfit. Small patterns details are the best option to avoid diminishing the elegance of the occasion. The rest of the accessories should be in a minimal style, so the look doesn’t be overdo; my advice is: medium-sized gold earrings, a small black bag, and stilettos in a dark colour in harmony with the pattern, however, wearing a necklace is completely forbidden! if you don’t want to look like a Christmas tree.
Finally, if you’d rather a comfortable look suitable for day or nightwear, that’s my proposal: a black blouse, mini skirt, black thick tights and ankle boots in the same colour. Choose a red coat and silver accessories and you will be ready to face the day.
Party Outfits for him:
Although the men’s options are more limited, there’re also several styles to choose from. We will start with the classic black suit with shirt, tie and dress shoes. I have added a polka dot shirt and a burgundy tie in my proposal, to diminish austerity and add a distinctive touch.
The main alternative to the former look is also a classic suit but in navy. In that case, a light blue shirt, brown accessories and a handkerchief in the same colours, instead of a tie, to decorate the blazer. It’s a casual but classy option.
If you find the suit is uncomfortable and not practical at all, that’s your option. Navy coat, beige trousers, white shirt and brown accessories. A classic look to be successful at Christmas.
Finally, if you don’t like suits nor shirts and you always opt for comfort in all your looks, my proposal for you is: open neck sweater, twin pleat trousers, dress shoes and a classic coat or a trench coat. The result, a very casual but trendy look.
See you next time.
